THE PAST AND THE PRESENT
With her extensive know-how of the Japanese market the present Managing Director and CEO of Indicus Software, Shilpa Vyapari, started her own software development firm - Nihon Indussoft - in Tokyo, Japan in the autumn of 1997. Within two months, Indicus Software was born in the city of Pune in India. Indicus Software became the offshore development unit of Nihon Indussoft. Shilpa interacted with the clients from the Japanese office and development work was carried out in India. As time passed by Indicus Software matured into a full-fledged software development company providing Japanese clients with the best of IT services and solutions.
In the month of January 2003, Indicus Software became a Sun Microsystems iForce Partner (now renamed as Sun Partner Advantage). Indicus Software is also a Solutions Partner of EPCglobal.
From the early days of the Company, Indicus has taken special efforts to ensure that the quality of work is at par with the best in the industry. To take this a step further, Indicus Software has also been appraised at Level 3 of the Capability Maturity Model (SEI-CMMI) so that it can provide its clients with the best... and only the best.
THE future
