Introduction ::..
Indicus Software conforms to the
belief that the world is a global village, that is, a place without
any boundaries. Our award is meant to encourage more and more
people to believe in this concept and enhance the reach of what we
can achieve in an ever shrinking world.
Indicus has a substantial presence in Japan and we feel proud of our
fellow nationals who are in the process of mastering the art of the
Japanese language and have a deep understanding of its rich and
vibrant culture.
As our business centers around Japan and its people, we take it as
our social responsibility to encourage more and more people to
familiarise themselves with the Japanese language, and the country
in general. As a part of this endeavour, we introduced the NOZOMI Awards in the year 2005, which till date, continues to be the one and only such award announced by any company in Pune.
The response to this award over the last three years has been fantastic and we thank
everyone involved for making the event such a huge success. This year, Indicus added yet another milestone in its association with Japan by launching the Yume@Indicus initiative (click here for more details). We are confident that our humble efforts in building more bridges between India and Japan will benefit a very wide spectrum of people in both countries.
Carrying on our support
for the Japanese language community in Pune, we now announce our
plans for NOZOMI 2008. The awards structure for this year has been revised. Each of the top two scorers in
the the I-kyu and Ni-kyu level examinations will get certificates
and cash prizes of Rs. 5,000 and Rs. 3,000 respectively. The top 5
scorers in the San-kyu level examinations shall receive certificates
and consolation prizes to encourage them to reach for the higher
levels. All applicants who possess a technical background automatically become eligible for job opportunities at Indicus Software. So if you meet all the criteria, we will be looking forward to talking to you and finding out whether you have what it takes to be part of Team Indicus!
